A little about me…

Hi there! I’m Jenny (Yejin) Shin and I am YOUR photographer based in Centreville, Virginia. I have been capturing moments from the womb but officially started my photography business in 2021. I want to serve others and my photography is a gift that never stops giving!

I am also a special education teacher and a believer in always learning, which is one reason I’ve never stopped taking photos. That said, I adapt to whatever your needs are. Can’t act natural in photos? You need outfit advice? I got you covered.

My Approach

I love to be your energizer bunny while capturing you! You will most likely find me in ridiculous positions to make you look the best you can. You know the dread of getting your picture taken at the DMV or those awful yearbook pictures where you have no idea how you turned out? Yeah… I’m here to relieve you of that trauma. I will not hide my photos from you during the shoot, but make sure you’re content throughout so you know what you’re getting. I like to emphasize my mix of Korean American blood in my shoots. The Korean in me brings out the classy, soft style in combination with American that brings out the sass and laughter!
